I liked this book and the first in the trilogy, but as others have written, the cliffhanger gets old after a while. Bj Bourg is one hell of a storyteller, but after I finish the trilogy I doubt I'll purchase any other books from him unless they are a series that can also be read as standalone books. Love your writing style, Mr Bourg, but as I fan, I don't want to feel forced to purchase another book to get the whole story.
But it wasn't great either. He did try to throw a curve at the end but it was like picking someone out of left field to be the killer. I dislike endings that you need to buy the next book to finish the previous book.
Not the most complex plots but solid listen/ read. Some great characters. Tends to be philosophically conservative. Not my preference but some folks will appreciate this.
This was a great procedural story. Unfortunately, two stories were involved, and given equal prominence. Only the first was resolved, and the reader doesn't even find out the reason for the second plot! Very annoying.
I loved this book. Both books in the Clint Wolf series has been an excellent book. Great plot. Ending was a surprise I didn't see that one coming at all. Goes to show really know someone. Fixing to start number 3, hope its just as good.
The first book in this trilogy was very good, the second one, But Not Forgiven, is even better. I am now starting the third one and am so looking forward to it! I highly recommend!!
The author is very good at sucking you in and not letting go. This is the second book of his I have read cover to cover.. And I don't have the third book in the trilogy to finish it.I have two words for the author:WRITE FASTER!!!!
